Tomorrow I an off to The Tate to take some beverage shots. I thought that it would be a good idea to reacquaint myself with how to do this so that I can give the best performance possible on the day.
I used Light Science and Magic as my guide and I have to say that the instructions were very easy to follow and after a few test shots I was on track. I had previously struggled with glasses as they can often appear see through and dull in regular shots.
You can see the setup that I used below. Improvised light box, flash at the rear bouncing into the white background and sides used to reflect the light. I used the 60mm macro from Canon which worked a treat given the limited space that I have in my kitchen.

The kitchen “studio” looks great! Very interesting to see the technique you used as well, thanks for sharing. You’ll be fine at the Tate tomorrow 🙂
