Sheffield Abandoned Factory

After searching through the archives I came across this shot – Its a pretty straight forward image and not the most interesting I must admit, however it was nice and easy to produce for a Sunday morning.

We’d actually gone to do some graf hunting, looking for a pigs arse of all things, which we didn’t find in the end.

This is awesome, Mark! Love the vanishing point due to the scale and size of the facility here!

[…] Sheffield Abandoned Factory – a wonderful composition of a long abandoned factory awaits the viewer here in this great shot by Mark Blundell. ¬†Fabulous textures in the natural decay are all perfectly captured, and these are accented by a great leading line that delivers a vanishing point due to the size and scale of the facility. It is interesting! I like how one side is so much different than the other, and the vanishing point as my friend Toad pointed out. Nice!
