I had a slow day on Saturday so decided to take advantage of the great sunlight outside and took a few self portraits.

Knowing what I wanteed to achieve was half the battle, actually doing it another thing altogether. With the sun behind me I ad the sky that I was after.I used on camera flass to light myself and a piece of board held up to my right to reflect some of the sunlight. This was all taken with a self timer so i had to dash back and forth several times to get the exposure correct, then the composition. generally I would be a little to the left or to the right, or have my eyes closed!

I’m happy with the outcome though and used a few different filters to those that I normally utilise, so all in all a good days work.
