Polesden Lacy House

Polesden Lacy is a Beautiful 566-hectare (1,400-acre) estate located in an exceptional setting and enjoying stunning views across the Surrey Hills. The house was remodelled in 1906–9 by the Hon. Mrs Ronald Greville, a well-known Edwardian hostess, and was the venue for the honeymoon of the future King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.

The house is adorned with intricate decorations and many of the rooms are fully open and not roped off enabling the visitor to get up close to the owners belongings.

The gardens are superb at this time of year, the walled rose garden being a particular highlight.
