Here’s a great close-up of the organ at the manor house. I though it would be rude not to get the macro out and have a go at capturing the texture of the dust.
There’s not much to say about this – I’ve used my normal processing workflow – 11 image bracket Photomatix / Nik Pro Contrast > Tonal Contrast > Curve masks.
This one was processed pretty quickly – less than 20 minutes, but very happy with the outcome.

I’m considering doing a tutorial to illustrate the workflow I use – would people be interested?
Great detail shot here. Love the dust covering everything!
Nice work, the dust shows up so well!
Fabulous detail shot Mark! Love the dust and the old piano! Well done!
Do comments from Viveca count? I love this image. It has a bit of sadness to it, however.
Good lord, this is wonderful! Right down to the dust particles!
Hello,
a tutorial would be great… 11 images ! I am wondering about how you changed exposures (how many steps…) and whether photomatix actually uses so many images efficiently…
sincerely,
