Here’s a not unusual urbex room – windows broken, metal removed and false ceiling collapsed. This was also very wet with water dripping everywhere including all over my camera, not ideal, but I had to get the shot! Another location in the hospital that I wasn’t really too fussed about and If I remember correctly I took the shot mostly to get out of Viveca’s way as she was composing in the corridor behind me.

I assume that this was a day room in the ward, bright and airy and no doubt somewhere nice to relax for the patients.

I read somewhere that this particular hospital was awarded the dubious award of being Britain’s dirtiest an accolade that I think it can still hold to this day.
