I realised that I’ve not done any images of Cheratte yet, so had a look through the archive and selected this one to work on. as a change from my recent shots, although this is processed and HDR’d its by no means as jacked up as some of the previous images. I had to stop myself playing more and more with the shot and (I think) stopped at the correct point. The original images stand up in their own right, but imo the processed version is at another level.

Vintage respirator at Hasard Cheratte

The image is a standard 9 exposure taken with a Canon 60mm macro at F2.8 processed with Photomatix 4 Topaz and Photoshop.

Full write up on the expolre to follow in due course when I have a few more shots processed.
