As you may know if you follow my posts I’m jumping around with images a little at the moment. My feet are getting itchy and without my camera I’m having to trawl through the archives to find some decent shots to process. I’m sure the last three have been posted elsewhere before, but its nice to re-process with new skills and toys in the Photoshop box.
My abiding memory of this trip is that I was very moody. It was a cold day, made even colder by being in a mortuary. I wasn’t appropriately dressed. I didn’t have my running leggings on under my combats and it didn’t take long for me to get very chilly. The shoot was a swift one!

I was looking for the close-up tag on the toe! You’ve effectively portrayed Cold in this shot.
I’m with Barbara on this one, man, this is a cold shot! You can almost hear… nothing… in this picture. What a great photo, I love the composition and tones here, and the abundant details really give us, the viewer, something to soak in as we take the photo in. Love it, Mark, top drawer!!
Great job in capturing the creepiness of this room. It’s doesn’t just make me think cold – it actually gives me the chills.
Really evocative. The only element missing would be some of those useless surgery gowns they make you wear hanging on a peg on the wall.
Revisiting and reprocessing older images is good for the soul. Not only does it vice you a chance to improve past images, it gives your fans a chance to see images we didnt see the first time around! This one is great!
All that’s missing is a creepy looking doctor, and you’d have a great horror scene. Nice capture.
