I sold a print of another shot of this boat recently so decided to have a look at same subject but from a different angle. This was taken slightly earlier, only a few minutes so I didn’t get the low sun glow of the other picture. However after processing the image from the original I’m very happy with the outcome.I’m experimenting with different methods of processing now, using more image adjustments as layers and masking rather than just adjusting the whole image. The results are far better than I could have hoped for. After having a lull in my confidence and enthusiasm I have reinvigorated things and am back on track.
The image was taken near sundown at Dungeness, a very mysterious place on the south east coast of England.
Hello Mark, I was at the Bigger Picture Gallery (Crystal Palace) today and bought ‘I used to fly like Peter Pan’. Having looked at your website, I am now a fan and wondered if you could recommend another of your photographs which would complement the above. They would both be in the same room and I am looking to pay a similar price. Something interesting to note, is that I was also drawn and did indeed buy a photograph by Viveca Koh. It was when I expressed interest in these two photos out of all the others on display, a lady called Nicola said you were boyfriend and girlfriend. I thought this was facinating as of course I had no idea of any connection!
