Crystal Palace Underpass

I took a trip to the underpass last night, its still very securly locked up, however I have no doubt that there is a way in somehow.

There’s currently a campaign underway locally to see if the location can be used for some sort of community space, gallery or bar. Either fo these would be a superb use of this wonderful resource. The issue appears to have been compounded by the fact that is is dissected down the middle by two local boroughs who would have to agree on anything together if anything were to come of it.

The photo below was taken with at 16mm and its the first time that I have used the wide angle filter in CS6 – I must say its a pretty powerful tool and has managed to straighten all of the curves introduced by the lens and the image being not quite straight. I’ll certainly be using it a lot more in the future.

Looks like an awesome place! Love the brick work in the first image and the composition accents it nicely!
