Another couple of images from the underpass at Crystal Palace.
The image is rather similar to the previous post, but taken from the other corner of the location. I’ve tried to bring out the texture of the flagstones a little mor in this one.
The image below I have processed a bit more heavily and may not be to everyone’s taste. I wanted to do something a little different so added a layer of Silver FX Pro and a very light touch of a cross processing filter.I may go back and have another go at this angle to try to get a little more in the image, possibly shooting from a far lower angle.
That first shot is friggin’ awesome!
Yikes Mark, this is great work here! That first one is just beyond anything I’ve ever seen before. Indeed, the textures and details are absolutely riveting. The second photo seems to be a little darker than normal? This really lends itself to a lot of drama in the picture. I love how you take in all the wonderful details of the ceiling and then the eye is naturally drawn through the columns to the other side where the light is coming through again. I am in absolute love with the brick and stone work at this site, it’s just incredible. Great work here, Mark!
I agree with Mike and Toad. Absolutely stunning. Love the pattern in the ceiling and the floor. Just spectacular.
So great, Mark. What an amazing location, and your framing of these shots is fantastic. Great eye.
