A few weekends ago I went to take an image that I’ve been after for a long time. I was hoping to catch a pano from this spot but unfortunately my camera failed me, or more to the point, it wouldn’t expose long enough to get any useful data from the ground. I may still be able to rescue the images, with a bit of exposure jiggery-pokery, however in the mean time, here’s a mini pano made up of around 11 shots. Its cropped quite a bit to aid composition, but has come out well I think.
Enjoy Battersea Power Station and Coal Cranes.
I rather like the fact that the cranes are almost entirely in silhouette, as their shape makes a really interesting foreground, and what’s in the background is great. I would suggest cropping more off the bottom, maybe just above where your watermark is?
I agree with both of Viveca’s comments: I love the foreground silhouette on the left leading to the lit power plant center/rear/, and also agree about the crop, but maybe not all the way up as high as she suggests.
