I’m slowly going to start writing about my WordPaperPress / Photoshelter site and how it was made
I will hopefully go some way to explain the three constituent parts (WordPress, Graph Paper Press and Photoshelter) and how they glue to each other to provide a seamless experience between sites.
There’s recently been an upgrade to Photoshelter that makes integration of Word Paper Press themes even easier.
The one touch update rocks and takes the pain out of cutting and pasting template info to Master and Customer stylesheets.
Simply select the theme. In WordPress, add the blog url and off you go.
The one comment I would make is that there doesn’t appear to be a way to keep a custom favicon in place. This is easily remedied though by simply adding the following to the top of Customer and Master style.
Manual Customisation should be selected :
Both Customer and Master templates need to be adjusted with the line :
<link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”http://yourwebsite.com/yourfavicon.ico” type=”image/x-icon”>
Save both templates and you will see the favicon appear on the browser.
Thanks! You just answered one of my nagging questions. Perfect compliment to the new streamlined page addresses.
This info is very helpful, thank you. Can you tell me where you put your .ico file?
Thanks Vanessa,
I put mine in the root of the website. Not particularly pro, but as long as the link points to it it should work.
For instance –
if the .ico is at \folder\favicon.ico then you should make the WP line point to http://www.vanessassite/folder/favicon.ico
